Get your hands messy as you learn the art of Wheel Throwing! In this beginner-friendly class, our expert instructors will guide you through the entire process. You’ll master centering, pulling, and shaping the clay to create your own unique pieces, whether it be a cylinder or bowl. Enjoy step-by-step instructions and the supportive environment as you unleash your inner artist.

We have everything available for your imagination to come true... pottery wheels, water containers, tools, hand rollers, etc.

Rules:

• Clay must be purchased from Canvas N Cafe Studio. We do not accept outside clay. 

• 90 Minute session includes 15 minutes of cleaning.

  • Clean the pottery wheel and all tools after your session end.

  • Ensure the pottery sink is free of clay.

  • Put away all tools.

  • Mop up any spilled water near the sink.

Pottery Trimming Services Available:

We're excited to offer you the opportunity to come back and trim your pottery pieces! For a small fee of $30, you can book a one-hour session dedicated to refining your creations.

Firing Service:

Creating pottery involves steps such as firing in a kiln to make bisque, glazing, and a final firing to complete the ceramics. After throwing your piece on the wheel, you have the option to take your creation home. For an additional charge (listed below), you can get your two best pieces fired or glazed. Please note, you will need to return for the glazing process.

• Glaze Firing(second fire): $20

• Bisque and Glaze Firing combined : $22
